Forest Bathing on International Women's Day

"If there is a belief that is capable to move mountains it is the belief in our own strength." (Marie von Ebner-Eschenbach)
This forest bathing experience is for all those of you who give a great deal in their daily lives: in their professional roles, within their families, and often beyond. Women who offer their commitment, skills and care, and who carry responsibility with strength and compassion.
In the spirit of this year’s International Women's Day theme, “give to gain,” the forest provides a gentle counterbalance:
As you give so much to others, this is a space where you are invited to receive. The forest offers calm, balance, openness and a sense of lightness.
There is no need to function, perform or to meet expectations. The pace slows, allowing space to simply be – in your own time, present in the moment, and quietly connected to yourself and nature.
Gentle sensory, breathing and mindfulness practices support you in clearing your mind, strengthening your immune system and renewing your energy. A nourishing and restorative time in the forest, helping you return to everyday life feeling grounded, refreshed and supported.
Look forward to:
- A break from everyday life - immerse yourself in the soothing forest atmosphere.
- Nature time instead of clock time - enjoy the moment.
- Let go and slow down on a physical and mental level, just "be".
- Spend valuable moments in harmony with nature - and with yourself.
- Activate the senses and feel yourself.
- Me-time to let your soul unwind.
I invite you to:
- Shinrin Yoku/forest bathing exercises for all the senses.
- Mindfulness and breathing exercises that help you slow down and enjoy the moment.
- Solo time - moments in silence just for you.
- Be creative with natural materials.
- Change of perspective - see nature (and yourself) with different eyes
- Tea ceremony with biscuits in the forest.
