Forest health
We feel good in the forest. But why is that? Because the forest has a diverse effect on our organism as a whole, on our body, mind and soul. When we enter the forest, we come across numerous bioactive substances, including terpenes, chemical messengers that the forest uses to communicate and to which our immune system also reacts positively. The colors of the forest, green and brown, have a positive effect on our psyche, as does the play of light and shadow in the forest. This natural aesthetic, the rustling of leaves in the forest, the sun breaking through the trees, cloud shapes in the sky, the scent of spring reduces stress, promotes well-being and thus also our health.
