Forest health

We feel good in the forest. But why is that? Because the forest has a variety of effects on our organism as a whole, on our body, mind and soul. When we enter the forest, we come across numerous bioactive substances, including terpenes, chemical messengers that the forest uses for communication, among other things, and to which our immune system also demonstrably reacts positively. The colors of the forest, especially green and brown, have a positive effect on our psyche, as does the play of light and shadow in the forest. This natural aesthetic, the rustling of leaves in the forest, the rays of sunlight falling through the trees, cloud shapes in the sky, the scent of the forest, reduces stress, promotes well-being and thus also our health.
